Why Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder is a Must!

Today I’m looking at Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder.

Beach in a box! This is a must have staple in my makeup tool box. Not even kidding friends! This is the best! This bronzing powder will give you that sun-kissed glow and contours your face like a professional makeup artist! I love this stuff! I was told about this product from an amazing makeup artist who regularly makes the stars look like … well, stars!

Benefit has some of the best products, and they package them to look so cute! I love the packaging of Hoola. This is one of the very rare cases where I think a product’s included brush works like a dime!

Swish brush over bronzer, tap off excess, and sweep across cheeks, chin, and forehead for that summertime glow. This is matte, not shimmery.

My personal favorite application is to contour and chisel a face with a few careful sweeps of bronzer using the included brush. You can sculpt cheeks, jawline, and sides of the nose. It is matte, long wearing, buildable, and has a great sheen. Another great thing about this product is that it lasts a really long long time so you won’t have to repurchase it often. I think this would work well for most skin shades, but if you are on the pale side of life you might try it with a light hand. It would be beautiful at night for you to get your glow on.

Contouring tip: sweep bronzer on your cheek from the outer corner of the top of your ear to the outer corner of the lip lightly. Imagine an invisible line from ear to lip. Remember this is buildable. Start lightly, using the included brush or a blush brush. Next, move to your jaw line and gently line the sides of the bottom of your jaw, chiseling that area. I like to also contour lightly around my hair line, and then the sides of my nose. Voilà! Chiseled and sun-kissed, you beautiful woman, you!

I give the Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder a 5 out of 5! I’d go higher if I could. This is one of my personal “Holy Grail” makeup staples. Fabulous! Fabulous!
