NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil Review

I’ve tried it all, it seems. I love makeup and “girly stuff!” I’ll be sharing my product reviews with you and would love your feedback on what I should try, too!

Today I’m looking at NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil.

The NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil was recommended to me by another makeup lovah friend. She loved it. I tried it in the color 860 Peekaboo Neutral.

First, I need to admit that I’m not a huge lip liner girl. I definitely wear one when wearing red, or if I’m doing evening makeup… But, most of the time I don’t wear lip liner. My long-wearing lipstick really covers the base for me. Sometimes I’ll wear a lip liner all over my lips for color, and follow with lip balm. A long-wearing lip liner seems to last forever with this treatment. Side note: I remember back in the 90’s when it was vogue to wear a dark lip liner and a neutral or nude lip. *Shudder.* What were we thinking? I faint. Anyway—this particular lip liner is pretty true to color, and goes on creamy.

So here’s the “skinny” on this lip liner… It wore off SO quickly! Every. Single. Time. This is a HUGE deal-breaker for me. So it’s gone to the great graveyard of castaways, folks.

I give NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil in 860 Peekaboo Neutral a 1 out of 5. It receives a 1 because I really love my girlfriend that recommended it to me, but that’s about it. Here’s the deal though… She really loves these pencils. I suppose what is one man’s trash is, sometimes, another man’s treasure. But still—skip this one. NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil is not my boo.
