“Marriage is hard work, but with the right tools, you can create a beautiful one that will only get better with time.
I learned this in my story; my life with my first husband was riddled with marital strife when I became widowed unexpectedly. Then, I remarried and am applying the lessons I’ve learned when given a second chance to build a healthy relationship.
In my honest and vulnerable book, you’ll find practical steps to face common problems and solutions that can lead to deepening the bond you promised your whole heart to.”
—Julie Bender, on why she wrote her book When Marriage Is Hard
