6 Beauty Hacks That Will Cut Time in Your Morning Routine

Many of us are guilty of hitting the snooze button on our alarms and sleeping in until the very last minute. If I don’t absolutely have to get up and start moving, then I’m not getting out of bed. But enjoying those extra minutes of beauty sleep means sacrificing some getting-ready time. To maximize that beauty sleep and still look amazing and feel stress-free in the morning, try these simple beauty hacks.

Here are six hacks to help cut down time in your morning routine:

 1. Plan ahead

The quickest way to cut back on a huge chunk of time is to plan your outfit the night before. This saves you the stress of scrambling to find an outfit and settling on something you grabbed off the floor at the last minute.

 2. Let your hair do itself

Rather than showering in the morning, shower in the evening. Then, when your hair is damp, throw it up in a bun or in some braids to sleep in. When you wake up, you’ll have effortless looking waves.

 3. Use dry shampoo

Didn’t shower the night before and now your hair is looking a bit greasy? No worries! Grab a bottle of dry shampoo to get rid of some of the grease. Start by spraying your hairline with the can of dry shampoo about six inches away from your face. Then, separate your hair into sections and continue spraying, making sure to get all of your roots. Finally, use your fingers to blend the powder and allow the dry shampoo to move towards your ends.

 4. Use products that multitask

Save time, money, and space by purchasing multi-use products. Consider buying a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer. Not only does it even out your skin tone but it moisturizes and primes your face for makeup. Also, you can use the same matte eye shadow color to fill in your eyebrows. Or you can use a lip color as a creamy blush by using your finger to blend it into your skin.

Wash, exfoliate and moisturize your skin the night before. When you wake up, you won’t have to do more than a simple wash with water.

 6. Prepare your coffee machine the night before

To my fellow coffee drinkers, don’t skip out on your morning coffee just because you don’t have enough time. Prepare your coffee machine the night before, so all you have to do is turn it on in the morning.
